Another Day, Another Mess

We just moved, and moving means that there are a ton of things to fix. With three kids, that means that of course there are going to be some hiccups along the way.

One of the great things about the new place is that there is a nifty little room attached to the garage which I am converting into a workshop so that I can follow my numerous hobbies. Of course this means cleaning, organizing and today I was painting.

Well I forgot to lock the bathroom door while I was out. My boy got in there and I found a wonderful miracle of toothpaste mixed with my nice clean towels all over the floor. My wife's makeup in the tub, toilet paper everywhere and one little boy who knew he was in big trouble.

People tell me to enjoy my kids while they are little because they will only be little once. On days like this I really would like to offer those folks the chance to enjoy little once again.

  3. EVERY stage of the kids' lives is fantastic. And every stage is fraught with difficulty. On any given day, you can have any of mine, and none of them.

  4. I think we all have THE SAME journey to take as parents. Yours is just a little different scenario but the feeling and the moment is alike...What to we do? We just take a deep breathe and sigh... :)

  5. ohhhhh I have been through this one. My daughters once took a rather expensive bottle of liquid makeup I had JUST bought and poured it all over the bathtub. I was mad but figured I was just glad it was in the tub. I have four daughters. They keep me on my toes.
